Ballet Conditioning & Chinese Classical “Shenyun”
Open for Adults 18+.
The class will start on 11/10/2024 - 12/15/2024, total of 5 classes.
The students will be focused on ballet conditioning for the first hour. The second hour students will learn Chinese Classical technique of "Shenyun" (身韵).
Instructor: Yicun Sun (Ethan), Ethan is a versatile dancer with a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine, and extensive training in Chinese dance, Ballet, and modern dance. Certified by the Beijing Dance Academy, he has a strong foundation in Chinese dance forms. Ethan was personally mentored by Donald McKayle for exclusive performances of McKayle’s original works, while also training in Martha Graham technique under Bonnie Oda Homsey and attending intensives with the Paul Taylor Dance Company and the American Dance Festival.
