Programs
Welcome to Bay Dance Collective, where instructors and directors alike are dedicated to nurturing young talent and providing a vibrant platform for dancers to explore and excel in both competitive and recreational dance.
Competition Teams:
Our Competition Teams are designed for young dancers starting at age 6 who are eager to dive into the exhilarating world of dance competitions. We carefully divide our teams into age and level categories, ensuring that each dancer can shine to their fullest potential alongside peers who share their skillset and age group. The dancers will audition for the Competition Teams in the Spring, and the selected dancers will be training under each program at their appropriate age and level.
Age and Level Divisions:
Rookie (Ages 6-8): Perfect for those new to competitive dance or still refining their skills. Our Rookie division offers a supportive environment to build confidence and experience the excitement of competition.
Junior (Ages 9-11): As dancers progress and refine their technique, they can advance to our Junior division. Here, they'll find opportunities to challenge themselves and showcase their talents on a broader stage.
Senior (Ages 12-19): For seasoned dancers who have honed their skills, our Senior division provides a platform to demonstrate mastery and compete at the highest level.
The Girlies (Teens): This division is dedicated to celebrating the energy, creativity, and individuals who are ready to bring their Hip Hop training to the next level and delve into the culture and community of Choreography. This is a Hip Hop only program, curated towards dancers with a strong background in advanced Hip Hop fundamentals.
Competing at Regionals and Nationals:
Our Competition Teams aspire to compete at both regional and national levels, providing young dancers with the chance to showcase their talents to a wider audience. From regionals, serving as a stepping stone, to nationals, offering the pinnacle of competition experiences, these events instill discipline, teamwork, and commitment, fostering lifelong skills.
